So me and my band Daze One had our first radio interview on Wednesday!
It was for Juice FM (Brighton) and I think we were live in the studio for about an hour =]
They played 3 of our songs amongst big bands songs! haha we felt famous a bit..
They asked us questions and we had a laugh and texts came in about us and oooooohhh fun times! Daze One also played a gig last night which went good too. Even though my bass went a bit weird in one song.. (something about my lead falling out, but not actually falling out).. But we impressed the people we needed to, so all in all, thumbs up! =]

So I suck at intros, so I'll steal my first post off Tamsin =]


1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Went out with a scenester, thought about what I'm doing with my life.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make them really, but I guess this year I should figure out what I'm doing and not just let it pass me by etc...

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not anyone close, but my sisters partners brother had a kid I do believe!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.

5. What countries did you visit?
I don't think i took a step off my island =[

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A job =D haha

7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Started seeing Tamsinnn on 29/11 yep! I do have many other things, but my memory is weak..

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I can't even think of anything good! =[

9. What was your biggest failure?
Don't get me started haha

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Only ever colds n' that. Never a broken bone in me =]

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Gig tickets and Chinese food.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Everyone was lovely. Give yourself a pat on the back.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
No one in particular "appalled" me haha.. I guess just arrogant, close minded pissed me off.

14. Where did most of your money go?
...And what money may that be? What I did have was spent on food & drink.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Return of the bad memory.. umm.. playing gigs and seeing special people.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2006?
Way too many to say.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder?
Happier because I'm with a nice person =]
Sadder because I'm with less money =[

b) thinner or fatter?
Umm probably fatter I reckon.

c) richer or poorer?
Poorer!

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Getting jobs. Being time efficient.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Leaving things unfinished. Wanting what I couldn't have.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent xmas eve alone (awww) and xmas day with Rosie and the gang =]

21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
It's a gradual thing. I don't think I was in love during 2006 no.

22. How many one-night stands?
Zero one-night stands.

23. What was your favourite TV program?
Erm.. Family Guy, Southpark, Prison Break umm I can't think!

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't truly hate anyone.

25. What was the best book you read?
I can't remember reading any stand out good books tbh.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Oh I'm sure there were a few.. Did I discover Blood Brothers this year? Nightmare Of You perhaps.. and loads more.

27. What did you want and get?
Umm... =/

28. What did you want and not get?
A job. Although I sucked at trying to get one.

29. What was your favourite film of this year?
Garden State was pretty spesh.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I had a surprise birthday thingy with my friends that are ace =] 20.

31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If I had a well paid job that I enjoyed. Oh man!

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
I truly discovered that it can be most fun to stand out from time to time!

33. What kept you sane?
Friends. Music. The anti-insane drug prescription.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Elisha Cuthbert me thinks!

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
That big news story where I was a cup of tea and some guy came at me with a spoon.

36. Who did you miss?
Special people that I don't see enough.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Tamsin I should reckon. Although I met a few good'uns =]

If you think you'll keep looking for a job once you've signed up for Job Seekers Allowance, you're wrong!
